I am new to custom programs and I was wondering if there was a way for me to execute a SSIS package from a custom lawson program. I have the program built, I just need to know what's next Thanks :merc: |

Training will definitely help you understand what Lawson is all about. |

Lawson allows for system calls, through which you can execute nearly anything. I'm not familiar with SSIS (Unix Guy) but if it's executable you can probably run it.. Edited by schroncd, Apr 14 2009, 07:01 AM.

I don't do any of the programming but I have helped the guys when they had issues running OS level scripts. So it's doable I just don't know how. |

YES WE CAN! You want to do a SYSTEM CALL and just run it that way. There is no Lawson API that runs SSIS packs but you can run them using system calls (like shell scripts / batch files) |
