Csv Create And Bldxffiles?; Trying to fix csv output from portal/LID

We're trying to view rpts as CSV, however, the output is not parsed correctly and ending up in wrong cells, etc. I noticed that all the $GENDIR/bin files have wide-open unix permissions. permsmaint does not have the "sticky bit" set, but that can be changed. We used a 3'rd party vendor to install a new LSF9 instance, with patches, on a new test server. The biggest problem seems to be the csv output to excel and our BL Invoice output having special control characters (^M) that shouldn't be there. Lawson is asking us to try yet another patch to create a newer "bldxffiles", but I don't want to throw out all we've done to take a chance with another patch updating many more utlilities again. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thank you,
John

There is an answer for those interested. The permissions for $LAWDIR/stage/obj/OrMap had 'root' as the owner. Once OrMap was deleted, ran srgen as a lawson user putting the correct permissions on that file. From there, "lstinvk -q" for BL122 programs + recompile of BL122 took care of the control characters in the inv output.
