Since RD30 is gone - what are other folks out there doing to Mass Load Web Users since RD30 is bye-bye? (I used a simple Upload thru Add-ins). We hire about 20-30 people a week, and this ties into our "New Hire Process" (RD30) - so I am interested to see if there is a script, or better way to add them now that I can't use my .uwf Thanks. :ph43r: |

You can mass load users using the loadusers command which requires an xml file to be created. You can find a template for this xml file in $LAWDIR/system if I remember correctly. |

Correction the file is "loadusers.xml.template" and it's located in the $GENDIR/system directory. |

Last week I sat through a CUE session given by a client. They said they had scripted the process of adding new users under LSF9. I'm hoping he sends me the script(s) to look over. If I do receive it and the author does not object then I'll see about making it available to others - at your own risk of course. -GW |

We are using LSF 9 with LSA fully slaved to AD authentication via ADAM. There's still a way to mass automate loading users. I'm not the one working on it. The other guy tells me to check these 2 items: > $GENDIR/bin/loadusers > $GENDIR/system/loadusers.xml.template WARNING: The load facility is very ticklish. Load MORE THAN ONE user to test properly. We've had situations where the FIRST user's data loaded just fine, but subsequent users didn't load correctly. (Also, we still can't get custom attributes to load properly.) |

Do you have ProcessFlow Integrator? If so, then you can use it to update RM information. |

Hi: We are upgrading to LSF9 with ADAM slaved to AD, using LAUA security. If anyone has had any success with loadusers in this environment, please let me know. |
