I'm just starting read up and figure out LSF and I see that both WAS 6.0 and 6.1 are available. Is one a better choice then the other? Is there any reason I would want to stick with 6.0 vs 6.1? |

It's always been my advice that when Lawson offers the choice between 2 versions of any supporting software, always choose the newest one, because when they offer 2 choices you know that the older one is headed for a decommission eventually and you'll end up installing the newer one anyway. I've had a chance to play with WAS 6.1 a little bit and it works very nicely. I have to do another 9.0 install in a few weeks and that is definitely the direction I am recommending. |

Yup, that's what I was thinking; plus we have a running joke about GSC because they always ask if are on the latest version or not. With usual resolution being to move to the last version. |
