Another newbie question here: How are you deploying the reports you have developed for end-user's in Crystal Reports?
We're using Crystal Reports XI, we don't have the Crystal Reports Server.
I'm wanting to develop and deploy reports that the users can run on their own schedule and also have the ability to pass input parameters to reports if need be.
I don't want to install Crystal on the user's PC's as none of them (at this time) are ready/wanting to do their own reports.
Thanks
Lawsons latest product for deploying Crystal Reports is called Reporting Services. Its one module in the Lawson Business Intelligence (LBI) offering.
Business Objects enterprise offering is Business Objects Enterprise XI R2. A more scaled down version of this is Crystal Reports XI Server. You can also develope your own solution using the SDK availiable with the developers version of Crystal Reports, but this requires you know JAVA or .Net.
There are also some 3rd party tools availiable such as John Hamdy (?) and Report2Web.

We're using Crystal Reports 10 and deploying the reports to our end users using Crystal Enterprise. I'm hoping to check out Reporting Services at CUE since it seems to offer some advantages over CE.
an additional note on CE; BO merged Enterprise 5 (?) and Crystal Enterprise 10 into BOE XI. Upon the next release of BOE, CE 10 and Enterprise 5 (?) will no longer be supported by upgrades, patches or hot fixes. I would imagine lawson will do the same with its OEM version of CE 10 which is branded Enterprise Reporting.
Scott, Ill be at CUE, swing by the JGI booth and say hey and we can talk shop.
I'll do that. It'll be nice to put a face with the name.
