Title: Who's Going To CUE?

jkerry - January 24, 2007 01:09 AM (GMT)
Anyone planning to go to CUE this year?
Should I go :) LOL, I think I am slated to go for sure actually.

I *STRONGLY* recommend that as many as possible from your organization go to CUE. It's a tremendous learning (and networking) experience - and a good time too!

For you Technical folks out there I also recommend that you stop by the Technology booth in the Labs area (they usually hide us in the back) - TheTech Consultants there can share a HUGE amount of knowledge in a one-on-one sessions that you just can't from the sessions. Bring your questions and stop by.

Sounds great. Now if I only knew enough to ask the questions!! :bonk:

Actually Cindy, when I was working that booth a couple years ago, we had a guy come by and say, "I don't know enough to know what to ask, can I just listen?" - and he hung out with us all day and listened to other people's questions and asked us follow-ups. Then came back the next day. Before he left he said he'd never learned so much in his life.

I've been interested in attending since I started working with Lawson ('01), but have never been able to make it. I'm considering it this year, but I'm waiting for the registration cost to go on sale.

maybe Lawson has an extra pass after all those layoffs this week. or better yet, start charging for each reply you post. you could do it 007 style and dress up like one of the banquette attendants and sneak in. :ph43r:

This year will be my fourth time and it's always a good time and I always learn something new. I get the most out of the academies and the labs since they are hands on. I only wish some of them were longer than 60-min.

cjmart - January 26, 2007 05:36 PM (GMT)
Thanks for the feedback. Everybody else that I talk to also says the same thing, that it's definitely worth it. The more people I talk to about it, the more I'm leaning towards going.

Check out the Marriott Gaslamp Quarter. There was availability as of last Thursday. I think it's around 5 blocks from CUE.
