Title: Pr293 For Non-payroll Tax Company
Description: {PR not implemented yet}

:nix:
Client is live with HR and PA, has purchased and intends to implement PR and BN.
HR00 "Payroll Tax Company" = "N" (HR00 BSI Company is blank).
Can client use PR293 (create outbound file, process repsonse file from SSA) just as if HR00 "Payroll Tax Company" was "Y"?.
{Can't test this myself...no system access today.}
Thanks.

Hi Kate - sorry for the delayed response - but looking at the tech text, you shouldn't have any issues running a PR293 without payroll. Its looking at EMPLOYEE and PAEMPLOYEE, and not whether there's pay or not. Good luck!! :coffee:

Happy New Year Stephanie! And thanks for the response.
I actually did read the tech text, and that's why I'm still wondering about this: PR293 references PRSYSTEM, so I wondered if the program would check to see if the PRS company record was flagged as a "payroll company".
Am I OCD or what? :eek: ;-D

Hey Kate - doing what we do, I think we're ALL a little OCD..... I set up a non-payroll test, and did get a file. Have fun!!

You are a sweetheart.

Why thank you - although I doubt the users here at the House would ever refer to me as "sweet" :whip:
