Title: Year End Processing

ohthatsme - December 27, 2006 02:12 AM (GMT)
Hello everybody-

Open enrollment is now complete & the new elections for the 2007 & the updated medical, dental rates are in Lawson. I am running hr155's to make that any new ee groups (or changes to old ones are captured) & the proper ees belong..

The bn12 will need to be updated with 2007 rates...

We don't have a default MED/DENTAL plan

A couple questions-

1- At the end of the year, what process do I run the BN100 or BN101 to make sure the old plan coverages/contrib rates for 2006 are closed and the new 2007 coverages/rates become effective on 1/1/07. The last payroll of 2006 is being run tomorrow 12/27/06: so when would be the best time to run this bn100 or bn101 update?

Are there any other bn10x processes that need running as well?

As always - I appreciate all your replies

May you all have a healthly and happy new year!!

Its actually BN105 that needs to be run to update your contribution records. Use the effective date of your new tables for parameters. Watch the data carefully if you have contribution rates based on employee groups - we're 8.1 and have had issues previously with some tables not updating and I can't for the life of me figure out why so I ended up writing a pretty simple query to see if I have any open contribution records for the prior year. :thumb:
