Title: New Par Location Not Listed In Mscm Par & Cycle

dstankiewicz - November 17, 2006 11:56 AM (GMT)
I created a new PAR location in Lawson procuremnt. Then went into Adding locations from procurement to add the location to MSCM and it was not there. Has anyone ever experienced this problem? Could someone list the steps involved in adding a PAR location to Lawson and then Adding it to MSCM maybe I missed a step in the process? :banghead:
Thanks

I'm not familiar with MSCM yet but does adding a par location work the same as with the old way (handheld integrator)... do you have to add the par location to a report group, run a job to create the interface file and then upload it?

Dump your MSCITEMLOC Table in your Lawson application server and see if the Par Locations you added is in that table.

If the Location you added is in MSCITEMLOC, check the adapter.log file in MSCM\jboss-4.0.0\server\default\log, and see if there are any errors.

If there are no errors in the adapter.log, check the server.log and search for "LAWSON_LOCATION_ITEM" to see the last date and time the scheduler executed a dme query for the table, if there are no query for this table after you added your Par Locations, you might need to check your scheduler settings.

You can restart your MSCM tomcat, this will query and will bring all records from Lawson app server to MSCM database server. Log in to MSCM web app and check if the location are added to MSCM Database.
