Has anyone closed early due to end of year occurring on a Sunday with the Holiday on the following Monday? Anything that we should be aware of if we don't close until 01/02/07?

Our general rule for restocking of par locations on the nursing units in regards to a 3-day weekend is that the clerks restock on the "middle day", which in this case would be 12/31/07.

Our dates are set for 12 month year. We do have recdef jobs that run nightly so these would need to be stopped from running on 01/01/07.

We are currently on 8.0.3 applications. Thanks in advance for your help.

So you have activity on weekends then? We don't do IC or PO transactions on weekends, we're an 8-5 M-F department. We close early many times when the last day falls on the weekend. Our fiscal year goes July-June so the EOM processing for December is just like any other month. In your case you could close the month on Friday but if any transactions took place on Saturday or Sunday the post date should be forwarded to January 1st. I can't think of any issues if you closed on Jan 2. Would RNI post correctly?
