Has anyone sent benefit vendor files using the 834 trans type (HIPAA)? Does Lawson even use this format - in the past I have used 850-855-810, but not 834.


I need to get an idea of what kinds of customizations are available on a per-vendor basis, what kinds of secure transmission methods the EDI module provides, etc.

So I assume I could use form: BN106 to create the standard HIPAA flat file. But, in Testing this I keep getting "no data to print in benefit transaction export report"

Any ideas? :cof: :bow:

If you change the transaction purpose to 2 - validate it should give you data.
This can be found on the run options screen.
With option 1 - update it will only give you benefit change transactions.
The change transactions are created when the create transactions option is a 'Y' on the BN100. I think some other forms have the create transactions options also.
