To all:

We are actively reviewing job schedulers from the following vendors:

1. Tivoli (formerly Maestro)
2. BMC
3. Argent
4. Tidal
5. ASG

We are a large Lawson shop, but we have other software applications as well (OracleEBS, PKMS, Biztalk to name a few).

Anybody see any of these demos? Any thoughts as far as Lawson is concerned? I have experience with Tivoli from my former employer and that seems to work well. From what I've seen, Tidal is the only one that appears to be more tightly integrated with Lawson. I have yet to see the BMC demo - that is next week.

Just looking for anyone's thoughts.

Somethig you'll find useful is Knowledge Base Article # 550844. It explains using jqsubmit, wtsubmit and lacobrts with 3rd party schedulers and scripts. Good information.

Thanks and yes, I have that. I also have alot of experience with all those commands both at my previous employer and my current employer.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any of these schedulers in house and is using them either with Lawson (which is my particular point of interest) or the other software applications I've mentioned.
