We're going to submit our PR293 on line with SSA this year - and the authorization code that I've been provided is longer than the 4 character field available on the form. Has anyone used the online service yet? Can I basically enter any characters in that field, since I'll need the ID and password on line? I'm a newbie with this filing form.... :nix: Many thanks

I have been using the online service for at least a year and it's great! We do not use the PR293 as we wanted only to verify employees who received pay checks for the current year. So I created my own with MS Access. If you have more than 500 employees they will want you to zip the file first.
