We outsource our W-2 form processing to MHC and I have been told that I have to have all of my CTP's installed before the end of the year. This is quite involved and bumps into other projects.

I am questioning if others have all of the Lawson CTP's installed before the end of each year.

I'm just guessing, but I'd be willing to bet that they meant all the "Year-End" CTP's and not "every" CTP out there.

We use MHC as well and she means the Year-End CTP's. That's all that we have done the last 5 years and it's worked everytime.

Year-End CTP's -- Hang on and don't start too soon. Lawson generally starts announcing them in October or earlier. Even if they are availabe before early December, if you install them before then, you may end up installing another year-end correction CTP. Usually, everything's fine by mid-month December.

The only year-end CTP's we do are for 1099's. They are supposed to be mailed by January 31st. We usually install the 1099 year-end CTP's about January 15th, even if they were available back in November. :rolleyes:
