Payroll Subject Matter expert necessary to work with large IDN on installation of Lawson HR/PR. Will require travel and residency in the Mid Atlantic region. Must possess at least 4-5 years of installation experience with a major ERP vendor as well as indepth operational knowledge of Payroll.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Leads the identification of HR/Payroll data requirements, workflows and/or processes to be standardized across the health system, identifying processes that will be standardized, versus those that, by design, will be left to Local System discretion.
2. Works within a team environment to gather input from Local Systems and HSO HR and Payroll functional leaders and executives, drafting conclusions into templates for review and decisions for further analysis, refinement, and/or adoption as a standard.
3. Provides guidance during the testing phase; creates test data, testing scripts and participates in the testing during the Lawson implementation; documents results and leads re-testing efforts, as needed; enforces stringent change management procedures.
4. Determines HR and Payroll departmental functional requirements through analysis, questionnaires and interviews with appropriate staff; collects information about the use of current systems or processes; shares lessons learned and best practices across the health system.
5. Tracks and assesses project goals, work plans, issues, timelines and action items via a pre-defined project management application. Prepares weekly project status report to the supervisor using a pre-defined reporting tool. Accountable for project management for the local systems assigned, performing according to project requirements and meeting deadlines, and fulfilling project status reporting requirements.
6. Assists in the development of documenting policies and procedures related to the implementation of Lawson HRIS/Payroll, including policies and procedures related to day-to-day use of the Lawson Software.
7. Maintains a relationship with Local System HRIS "Super Users," facilitating sharing and implementation of lessons learned and best practices across the health system.
8. Provides expertise in developing operating models and facilitates the transition of the model to the implementation activities.
