Supply Chain Administrator
The purpose of the Supply Chain Administrator is to manage the process of
electronic data collection and database development and integrity as it relates
to Hamot's Supply Chain. To implement and train users of the use of the
Materials Management Procurement System and act as liaison between Information
Systems, Accounting and Materials Management for issues resolution and system
development. This person will be responsible for the ongoing automation of the
entire supply chain at Hamot along with developing standard reports from
the Procurement System for the management of the Supply Chain.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, or Accounting.
Experience: 5 years of Procurement and/or Materials Management experience in a
healthcare setting along with good working knowledge of Accounts Payable and
Information Systems. Previous Lawson Procurement system set-up experience
preferred.
Skills:
- Ability to relate effectively on a professional level with all members of the
Medical Center Administration, Management Staff and Medical Staff, and assist
them in all matters pertaining to the procurement of supplies, equipment and
contracted services .
- Strong organizational communication skills, both written and verbal .
- Competency in computer skills, database fundamentals, and report generation
including working knowledge of Crystal and SQL report writer programs.
