Title: iSeries Upgrade Woes

Has anyone done an iSeries upgrade recently? Or am I the only poor soul that has to deal with this aweful OS. I can't seem to get portal to connect back to anything eversince we did our upgrade last week. GSE has been no help.

Your not the only one.....we had quite alot of fun doing the upgrade on our iSeries just recently and GSC wasn't a whole lot of help.

I am on iSeries release 7.2.2.6. I plan to upgrade to 8.0 sometime this year. Someone from Lawson contacted us and said that for an extra $20000, we could get the upgrade software to go directly to 8.1. What release are you upgrading to right now?

Jumping on into 8.1 is a really good idea. After all, you're going to end up there anyway, so if you can do it for just an additional $200 and suffering the birth pangs only once then you are way ahead of the game!

Is anyone currently Live on Lawson HR 8.1 (iSeries)? :nix:
