Title: Processflow Email Attachments
Description: ProcessFlow Email Attachments

I've been trying to get the email attachments feature in the email node of Processflow to work, but my file list is empty. The docs state that I can just place the files in the /processflow/emailattachments directory or use the upload tool in the pflow designer to place them there. I've tried both and they are indeed in the directory, but the email node attachment file list is still empty. GSC has only stated so far that there are additional docs on how to use attachments, but haven't given them to me and the KB only shows the pflow admin docs instructions. =

Anyone out there been able to use this feature and would like to share?

Thanks,

ENV 8.0.3.6+
Tomcat 4.0.6

This probably isn't going to help you at all but all I have to do use the attachments is.

1. Upload the file I want to use as attachment. This is in the Tools menu of process flow designer then select Upload document to server select the file you want and hit upload.

2. Insert email node into flow.

3. Select the file from the list of available attachments.

4.Run the flow and the email with attachment goes out.

But it always worked for me so there may be some version issues. My process flow designer says it is version 8.0.3.4

Those are the steps that I have done along with just manually copying the file to the directory. My issue is that the email node doesn't display the file list when trying to select the attachment.

As you are using an older version than me, that may be the case. It could have been broken between 8.0.3.4 and 8.0.3.6+, along with me using Java 1.4.2_9.

GSC has come back and said that a PT was posted, but wasn't sure if the documentation was included for setup and the limitations of use. He is checking into it.

What type of files are you using as attachments - csv, tiff, pdf, txt, ect...?
Cay you just copy a file into the emailattachments directory and it show up in the list to choose from inside the email node?

What I'm hoping for is to be able to have a flow run a multistep job that will run a report, copy the csv output to the emailattachments dir, then email it to a user. The filename will always be the same, so there shouldn't be any issues...except it doesn't work for me...

Lawson is now telling me that I must have PSA installed for it to work. Do you have PSA/SA installed?
