I had read somewhere that I can change the way the fax looks through Crystal Reports. Basically, all I want to do is change the font so it's more readable. I this possible?

There should be a Directory path listed in your options, that shows you the crystal objects.

WinFax Pro 10.03. That's what I needed. Someone to tell me where the file was located.

Well I tried to modify the plain.rpt file and Crystal 9 made me update the file to the lastest version of Crystal in order to save it. I don't think the Fax Integrator liked that. About 6 faxes bombed (error 20525). I pointed it back to the original file. Now how do I change the 6 bombed faxes so that they print from the original plain.rpt?

Re-Que the POs to be faxed. Since you already set the path back to the original file - they should go ok.

I was hoping that I could change the report path within the integrator database for those that bombed but you really can't do much except delete them. I can open the database in Access but I can't make changes because the database was created with an older version. Access tell me to convert the database to the current version. I doubt that's a good idea. I did requeue those in Lawson and deleted the bombed faxes from the integrator database.

Can you save the .rpt - make the change - then FTP it the WinFax Directory?

In Lawson V.7 and prior, we were successful in making changes to the Crystal RPT. In v.8, that went away. The method that the fax integrator uses to create the fax document is significantly different. Before 8, it used to parse out the specific fields and use the RPT to create the document. In v.8, it simply pulls in a line of text and appends it to the previous. It still uses the RPT, but it seems to be nothing more than a pass-through. SO...where we used to hard-code some affiliate speciific information (namely Bill To information), we now are using another method to get that information across.

In any case, we have also been unsuccessful in getting something as simple as a font change to take. I don't why.

If anyone is able to alter the base RPT, I would love to hear about it.
