Title: Process Flow Basics
Description: Multiple records and formatting

kbfinn - August 7, 2006 08:32 PM (GMT)
I have elementary level knowledge of process flow and would like to know how to do the following:
(1) Format the e-mail:
Can I add bold or italics?
Can I change the font?

(2) Trying to create an audit note to send to each individual employee with their emergency contact information. I can only seem to create a flow that sends out separate e-mails for each contact in the employee record. I'd like the note to include 1 e-mail for each employee with any or all emergency contact details we have on file.
Thanks for your help

1.As far as the format I haven't found anything that helps with formatting. I have been told it is a lot of trial and error. It is just a plain text message so if you know some magic with plain text please share. Sorry that wasn't very helpful.
2. It is possible to get multiple records returned for each employee you just need to use the message builder node. I just built a quick test version of what you were asking for and it works it isn't perfect but the main idea is there. I attached it hope it helps.

It's just "plain old text" so there's nothing you can do the make those changes, even imbedding html, as that has to be noted in the mail header, and you have no access to change that.
