Title: ADP Lawson Interface

Does anyone know if there is a canned Lawson to ADP interface that can actually work out of the box for employee update tape file?

There are a few people that profess to have something that works out of the box but our experience has been that hasn't really been true. We hired a consulting firm to come in and spend a week building one and it cost less than the "Out of the box" package. I can dig up the info if you're interested.

We also hired a consultant to write ours. So far, we've only had to make one modification to it for year-end. The contracting firm that we used was CIBER.

Not trying to advertise here......in a prior life I had some experience with an interface written by JAT Consulting. Worked pretty well.

Hello we use JAT as well. Works ok but it is sooo custimized that when things go wrong I don't really know what to do ... I recently heard that there is an ADP - Lawson interface, and it is currently being researched. A lawson rep now an adp rep is where we got the info from. Lawson on the other hand depending on who you speak with says yes we do and the others say no we don't... so needless to say I keep hitting a road block. If ANY OF YOU Know of this I am very VERY interested to get the information!

Thanks

After spending the money on a consulting firm to write our personnel, payroll, & benefits interfaces, I then wrote them in MS Access about 1 year later.
