Title: Printing Summary From Crystal
Description: export data without detail

I have a report that summarizes every employee's PRTIME transactions - comes out to 263,000 records. The problem is, I suppress the detail and just want to print the Grouped Sums...every time I try to export to .CSV it brings all the detail...Help?!

I just tried exporting a small report as a CSV and got only the summary lines (group footers). What version of Crystal are you using?

Is it a conditional supresion or just all rows supressed? Have you installed all the service packs and hotfixes for the CR 9 Writer?

I am supressing all detail fields, but keeping the grouping and sum totals on the group footer. :afro: :werd:

I downloaded the patches, moved the group sums to the group footer line, suppressed the group header, detail, and then exported.
Like a gem.... thanks all! :afro:
