I wonder if we can use ORACLE or other RDB instead of DB2 for the Tivoli LDAP.
Has anybody actually use Tivoly LDAP?

Nope.. DB2 is a requirement. However it's such a miniscule install that you never have to worry about it in the same way you maintain most RDBs - it's install-and-forget..
