Wondering how others may secure their executive payroll?
Without going to a 3rdparty payroll vendor.


What type of Setup? Separate Process lvl? etc...
Securing reports..

We use record level security.
Only about 5 people in our company have access to the top executives information. And only 2 people can process their payroll which is run separately.
In laua the security classes have different record levels. The Payroll supervisors and Hr administrators have their security classes set to record level 1. The Payroll staff and HR staff have their security classes set to record level 3. All other users have theirs set to 9.

On the HR11 screen under the work tab there is a security level field. 9 for regular employees, 3 for Payroll and HR staff and 1 for Executives.

You also assign the record level on the position code.
