Title: Pa52.2 Mass Pay Increase
Description: Accidently used a future date

Patti Aune - May 13, 2006 03:45 AM (GMT)
Does anyone know the best way to correct a mass pay increase with a future date? I attemtped to set-up a new mass pay action with a .001 percent increase and gave it the proper effective date then ran the PA100 in report mode..... everthing looked good the rates were the same with the exception of some having a 1 at the end example (7.8401) but when I ran the PA100 in Update mode my job went into "needs recovery". Just wondering if my attempted solution caused the job to fail or if it's a deeper issue. The short of it....Is there a better way to handle this???

Any insight is Greatly Appreciated Thanks

hello, Not sure if this is better but I did our Merit increases via HR511. It was very easy and pretty quick..

Hope that helps..
Thanks

What did the log file report about the job?

Actually I'm not in the office this week so I don't have what the log report said. My IT deparmtent is working on that. I'm really interested if there's another way to fix the effective without using the PA100. And of course without having to do each employee individually as there is 200 of them.

Thanks
