We have a 457b plan that is similar to a 401(k). The issue we are running into is that the match to the plan is a 401(a). When setting up the benefit in Lawson, it will not allow the match to be a different tax type than the retirement plan. Anyone run into this? If so, how did you get around it. Our solution is the do all of the match calculations outside of Lawson. Which is not our preferred method.
