I am converting history from our previous Lawson system (RCO through Siemens) to our new 8.1 system (inhouse). I need to produce a list of historical data (in a flat file format) as follows:
Data: Company, Employee ID, LastName, FirstName, EffectiveDate, ActionCode (if it exists), Field Nbr, Alpha, Date, Numeric, Process Level, JobCode, CostCenter(Dept), Position, Status, EmpStatusValue(user field)
As of each historical event (event date) in HRHISTORY!
This is needed because fields like ProcessLevel, Job Code, Position, Cost Center, etc. are used in the conversion of old data to new.
Just wondering if anyone has worked through this reporting challenge successfully?

What is your RDBMS with Siemens?

I might be a bit confused, but it sounds like you're asking if anyone has done a history conversion. In which case the answer is obviously yes. What is it that you're having trouble with?

So you're going from Old Lawson to New Lawson? Which version are you converting from?
