Could someone give a brief overview of requirements to implement SSL in Lawson 9? If a 3rd party product is required, what are some recommended vendors?

The required components for LSF 9 can easily handle an SSL configuration. The thing that doesn't come "out of the box" are you SSL certificates. You'll need to contact VeriSign or one of the Certificate vendors - or get one of the open source certificates - unfortunately I can't point you at a source, but I bet Google can.
