Title: Pr140 Totals
Description: Hours Don't Match

Patti Aune - April 26, 2006 04:14 PM (GMT)
Hello......I've encountered a problem with the PR140 for just one of my porcess levels. A few of the pay code hours don't match on the Process Level total page compared to the Company totals. For example my overtime hours doubled on the Company total page but the calculation didn't. Then I had another pay code do the opposite the amount on the Process Level totals is more then the Company totals but again the calculations are correct. Has anyone encountered this? I haven't reported it to Lawson yet because it's not happening with any of my other 50+ facilites and the PR141 is correct as well as the employees paychecks. We are on 8.0.3 with MSP10.

Thanks in advance for any help.
Patti

Good morning - do your employees work in multiple process levels? We've experienced the same issue with dollars - and after working with the GSC, determined that our data entry was bad - keying of incorrect process level and/or position resulted in amounts showing as zero dollars, although from the employee perspective, annual wages were correct. Good luck!

Actually no this is a new facility and the employees do not work under any other process level. Nor do they have multiple position codes. I'm wary of the "bad data" issue since this is only the second payroll processed for them and very few changes have been made to employee records. Thanks for input though I think I'm going to have to take this up with GSC.

Patti, did you ever find a resolution to this issue? Or a cause? My client is having the very same issue. :banghead:

We never found out the cause. The solution appeared to be a CTP, our IT department applied CTP #43611 which was to correct an issue with PR80 and that's when the Pr140 totals were fixed.

Good Luck.

Thanks, Patti. This did the trick. It fixed our totals also! :thumb:
