My Client, a leading not-for-profit Regional Healthcare Organization based in Virginia is looking for an Lawson - Applications Manager, to join its team.

This individual will be responsible for the managing, directing and coordinating the activities of project teams through all phases of project implementation including systems design and development, product testing and end-user training activities.

Responsibilities Include:
-Assist team leaders with development of policy and procedures for ongoing system maintenance.
-Project manage planning and date adherence, software release schedules, project organization and assignments, project communication, testing and installation
-Project communication, testing and installation.
-Plan, monitor and manage project completion process through the implementation phase.
-Develop and conduct educational training for staff.
-Coordinate vendor modification to hardware and software, perform system updates, test changes, educate staff.
-Assist with the selection, implementation and deployment of computer hardware and software applications.
-Provides assistance in budgeting and strategic planning to the IS Director development, maintenance and ongoing improvement of their Lawson ERP applications which include G/L, A/P, Materials Management, HR and Payroll.
Abilities and Competencies:
-Senior position requiring ability to work directly with manager and users (strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills)
-Strong understanding of business supported to convert business requirements to technical solutions
-Self-starter; has ability to work with minimal level of supervision; clear understanding of purpose and importance to customers’ business needs
