I have a fairly new user who is taking our HRIS role. Her director wants her to go for some application training as soon as possible, and the nearest HR class is Human Resources Structure 9.0, in May.

We're still on 8.0.3/8.0.3, so I'm kinda wondering if this class is going to be of any benefit to this employee at all...any thoughts?

I'm an old techie and can't really tell an FTE from an XYZ, but I recently installed 9.0 for a client and the trainers said that while some of the internals had changed, the actions, names and results were essentially unchanged.

Of course they WILL be taught on the 9.0 Portal which is a little different from 8.0.3 -and LID is not part of the curriculum.

I had hoped that the forms would be pretty familiar, and I'll let the trainees know that they'll be looking at the portal instead of LID - I had forgotten to mention it.
