Title: Anyone Want To Recap Cue For The Rest Of Us?

Since a lot of us have to work this week and don't have the pleasure of joining the rest of you at CUE, maybe one of you fortunate few would like to take on the task of giving us a review. Put your own spin on things. Look forward to hearing your tales. Don't party too hard :disco:

This is likely not helpful by itself, but may get the chatter going.

-9, 9, 9, and more 9 - It's the answer! from Dean's Ice Fishing trip.
-Financial Perfomance
-Intentia - still working on it
-New Logo
-IBM - WebShpere - IBM
-A pain trekking back and forth between hotels - missed some sessions
-Malcom Gladwell - go with your gut, but only if the circumstances are right
-Food was good
-Fantasy of flight was way in the heck out there, mosquitoes, Caliendo was good, Clinton's "Lady's, I looove yooou." :) and a Bush's "Gobble, gobble, whopper, whopper,...that's a turkey burger." Food and drink...
-Harry did a comedy routine, jokes such as, "A horse walks into a bar, and the batender says, 'Why the long face?'"
-First Landmark App
-Performance Management
-LBI - RAS Report Bursting
-Academies are always great, but too short to finish most of the excersises - just a sampler platter I guess
-Mobile Supply Chain Management Suite
-Anyone else offered the Governor's Suite at the Marriott? Ah yes, the fancy name for a room with a fold out bed and no shower. Wait, did I tell you it has a flat panel TV...and, and, wait for this...famous people stay in this room..we could charge thousands of dollars for this room. WOW!...thanks anyhow, but we'll pass.
-Nice Lawson bag...no Pen to write with...cost transferred to the Marriott - thanks for the pen(s) Marriott.
-Lot's of nice people and good conversation

I'd like to include:

* Lawson people actually wanted to talk to us
* Most of the vendors were a repeat for me this year
* That Suite Tax wasn't as bad as the $50/day extra that they charged on the hold on my debit card
* You can't rent a car on a debit card any more, either
* Great food! Thought I missed breakfast one day, then found the food court.
* Talked to a lot of very nice people, who all "talk Lawson"
* Those flight simulators at Fantasy of Flight -- a lot harder than I thought!

But the most "interesting" thing about the whole CUE trip was my ride back. In brief: I chose to ride Amtrak back to Poughkeepsie, New York, via Penn Station in New York City. Got on at Kissimmee 5:00 PM. At 9:00 PM all passengers were dumped at Jacksonville, Florida, because of a CSX Railroad Corp. bridge out in North Carolina. Sheer panic, almost a riot, much disgust with Amtrak. People got refunds, were told to find their own way north. Took a city bus to the Greyhound Station. Boarded a New York-bound bus in Jacksonville at 12:15 AM on Thursday. 3 changes of drivers, and 1 change of bus later (A/C broke down in New Jersey) we got to NYC at 9:30 PM. Caught the 10:01 PM Metro North commuter train bound for Poughkeepsie on the Hudson Line. Got to Poughkeepsie by 11:40 PM and was home by midnight.
