Title: Lawson Bookmarks
Description: Lawson BookMarks not showing up

Venki - March 20, 2006 06:44 PM (GMT)
Hi,
We were trying to set up the Lawson portal. After the core installation, we were testing out the bookmarks. When we try to subscribe to bookmarks after initial install of Portal/Bookmarks and they are not displaying. Below is log from loading bookmarks:
$
perl /law8/gen/bin/LoadPortalGroups
Group files available:
/LAW8/lawson/logan/Admin/Portal_Admin.groups
Load /LAW8/lawson/logan/Admin/Portal_Admin.groups?
Y
please wait...
reading /LAW8/lawson/logan/Admin/Portal_Admin.groups
1 groups and 1 access records will be added, continue?
Y
Done.
Re-run this whenever additional bookmarks are loaded.
$

After the book marks are loaded, the next step is to subscribe to them. I did that. But it is after this, that the subscribed book marks are not showing up on the navigation pane. Tried refreshing also multiple times.

Seems the LO920, which is supposed to create records for LO12 didnt create them. See extract of joblog below. If you see for the first one PORTALADMIN, it shows bookmark has been added, but no URL.

00000001 PORTALADMIN Top Level Bookmark has been added.
Name:Portal Administration Description:Portal Administration Url:
00000002 OFFICEMGR PORTALADMIN Bookmark has been added.
Name:Bookmark Manager Description:Bookmark Manager Url:admin/officemanager/
00000003 OFFICEUSER PORTALADMIN Bookmark has been added.
Name:Users and Groups Description:Users and Groups Url:admin/usersandgroups/

We think, this has got something to do with LO12 and LO14 forms? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Venki.

Your log was for the Portal Admin Groups. Your bookmarks are loaded when you have to execute LO920.

You can look in LO12 and LO14 to see if there are any bookmarks loaded, but if you haven't run LO920 there is nothing there.

Thanks for your response. It was fast. Oops, the joblog was of that PORTAL ADMIN GROUPS.

I did run the job for LO920. But it didnt create anything for LO12. That is my issue.

Thanks,
Venki.
