Title: Smart Notification
Description: Using bursting tables

One of the tools we have implemented is lawson smartnotifications. I am having a rough time with it because we are not allowing people to subscribe to notifications I am having to build bursting tables for each notification with the list of recipients. this works fine, requires a lot of maintenance but once in a while no matter what I try the notification will not burst. we have had a lawson consultant in and he wasn't able to track down why it just seems to not want to burst certain queries. Has any one used Smartnotifications with bursting tables and had a similar problem?

the table you are using in the notification cant be suppressed on step 4 of the notification process. also be sure in your infoset deffinition that the field that contains the email address has the Burst checkbox marked and set the data type to email. if that still doesnt work, try assigning the field in the infoset to the contact catagory.

im assuming you are using the default Tomcat installation? Try bursting one of the notes that are having issues and see if there are any exceptions in the error logs.
