Has anyone installed or upgraded the reporting suite components?
I have recently Upgraded EFS 1.2 and installed CR10,RAS10 & now
RS-INSTALL13.exe. I also Performed the RS1.3 Patch install. (On W2k
server)

When I run the ERS InstallValidator.jsp I get this error
"An Error occurred connecting to the database. "
ERROR:Exception creating DataSource: org.hsql.jdbcDriver
Step 1 - Framework Services Location Incomplete
Step 2 - File System Incomplete
Step 3 - Job Scheduler Settings Incomplete

Does anyone have an idea where to go from here or how to re-configure?
I did enter the EFS location once. Is there any Config assistant for
this?

Also When Installing RS, It installed another copy of Tomcat in a
different location than the original. Is this okay to have 2 instances
running? One is for EFS/LSN & the other for RS.
On Page 4 of install instructions it Tells you that "Multiple Tomcat
Versions can Coexist on the same computer"
GSC said Tomcat shouldn't be in 2 locations... & can't support my
install? (& though I don't quite I understand it all I believe they actually did a partial install of it initially.)

FYI.. Install as Custom not express & use existing Tomcat.

You can absolutely have multiple instances of Tomcat if that is your preference.

My web server currently has 4.1.31 and 4.0.6 running side by side for Portal and LSN respectively. We've had this setup for about a year in production and haven't had any issues.

I've just now started with the installations for the reporting suite so I can't speak much to that, but I plan on using the Tomcat instance running LSN for any reporting suite components.
