Title: Deductions Quardrupling For Monthly Paid Employees

nporter - February 15, 2006 10:19 PM (GMT)
Recently we had some folks here go to getting paid monthly, instead of bi weekly- so their benefits were adjusted so that they only have monthly deductions per the pay frequency in HR11 (monthly). Problem is the deductions for Long term disability Premier is quadrupling, however short term is correct and everything else is correct? Any ideas. RIght now we have to manually go in and adjust this before we send the file to payroll. (we do not use lawson payroll...we use ADP. and interface via JAT) Lawson said it was an ADP issue however it is not it is in lawson. Payroll-ie: ADP only gets the info we store in lawson. I don't know where I am to go to correct this.
Any thoughts... Ideally we would like to Figure out the error so we do not have to manually keep caluclating their deductions... :nix:

You'll want to check BN15, specifically the "Deduct" tab. Check the frequency table field to see how often these benefit deductions are being taken. My guess is that you are still taking them on a bi-weekly or weekly schedule instead of a monthly schedule.
