I'm having a problem with LAUA security. The problem is in LAUA security. I follow the usual process of adding users to security, adding the user's security class and then adding them to 4 user groups. We have only one user group class, so everyone is assigned to "ALL" in each of the categories. I do not have this problem adding users to the user group, printer group or job queue group, but since we upgraded to sp9, I am not able to add users to the 4th category, Dist List Group. When I try to add a new user to the dist list group, I get the following message: "Selected Dist. List Does Not Match To User Group"

This is a problem for users who run reports out of GL report writer.

"Resolution:
This issue occurs when you have distribution group members attached to a distribution list group that are not members of the user's user group. ONLY members of a user's user group can belong to that user's distribution list group. For example, If my user group consisted of pat , tracy , steve , and fred , I would receive an error if my distribution list group members included pat , tracy , abby , steve , and fred . (Since abby is not a member of my user group, I must either remove her from the distribution groups attached to the distribution list group that I want to assign to my user OR add her to my user group.) "
