I am trying to send an email to specific members of various HR departments based on information from several queries. I think I understand the task role and category filtering but wanted to throw it out to make sure I am not missing anything.


I have a list of HR staff who are each responsible for one Process Level.

I believe if I have a task set up called HR-NOTIFICATION and assign each of the individuals the category filter of their process level and then put the task of HR-NOTIFICATION in the TO: section of the email that it will filter to the correct person based on the Category. I know that the user action nodes do this but haven't used it on the email before.

Pleas let me know if I am wrong.

Since no one answered I thought I'd fill in and say yes the email node will filter based on the catagory filtering.

Yes that is true - it will filter base on the cat filtering, IF you have the "Check Category" check box checked.
