Is there a way to create a Smart Notification when someone has something in their ProcessFlow inbasket?

I suppose you could but wouldn't it be easier to use the notify option on the Approval Node in process flow. If you are wanting to notify someone who is not the person actually doing the approval you could add an email node just before the approval.

What are you trying to accomplish?

We're having our Dashboard users log directly into Framework Services and not the Portal. Therefore we want to be able to invoke forms and portal pages from within a Dashboard. We accomplished that. In regards the Inbasket, we want to build an alert that will say something like "You have x items in your inbasket".

I suppose you could query against the work flow tables but it would take some time to determine all the fields needed to make it work.
