We have an exciting opportunity at CARE for a Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Specialist. The primary responsibility is the support and maintenance of CARE USA's HRIS in addition to other systems supported by the HR unit. S/he serves as the functional expert and point-of-contact for assigned areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, queries and report writing, development of end-user procedures and analyzing data flows for process improvements. The HRIS Specialist supports system upgrades, testing, patches, table maintenance and other technical projects. This positions serves as HR liaison with Information Technology(IT) and Finance(Payroll) Divisions in making optimum use of the functionality offered by the HRIS (Lawson HR Suite including Payroll - Version 9.0). S/he will assists in solving human resource information problems, identify information requirements through business analysis, research and needs assessments in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives and processes. S/he will engage with key staff within CARE USA in design and implementation of automated HR systems to support organizational priorities and improve efficiencies to include preparing HR functional system requirements regarding data inputs and outputs (reporting). The Specialist is responsible for development of end-user training plans and materials to deliver training. REQUIREMENTS: 3+ years of HRIS experience (functional HR & Payroll) 3+ years experience with major HR management system Lawson) 1 – 2 years of project management and report writing experience (i.e.Cystal Reports) Working knowledge of HR business processes and systems Understanding of HRIS software database design and tools, structure, functions and processes Thorough knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Access, and Visio Knowledge of report writing functions within applications and other report writing tools (i.e. Crystal Reports) Ability to gather and analyze information in order to solve problems and recommend solutions COME MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND WORK FOR CARE!
