Has anyone come up with a way to automatically lock out or change specific user access to read only during a payroll run?

I have a set of scripts to lock and unlock 8.0.X envs allowing in a specified list of users. They're used during maintenance and payroll runs.

Pick them up at schronce.net - look for the 'lock_env' scripts. READ THE DOCS!!!

Will this work on 9.0 in a windows environment?

I've read through the docs and one more question came up. It stops and starts lawson. What does stopping and starting lawson do to Webshpere? won't we run into errors there? Websphere states that lawson needs to be up prior to starting it, so I would imagine that this would cause a problem.

Your thoughts Mr. Iluminati?

Instead of locking out users, have you ever heard or been able to put a user into read only mode? That is ultimately what our organization is trying to do.

Also, as for this ACL, are we looking for the NT123456789 number to be listed and that is it, correct?
