hi everyone,
We have Lawson Financials (latest) using SQL Server database on Windows.
I'm not a Lawson admin, know very little about Lawson, but I noticed some non-Microsoft" objects in the SQl Server 2005 master database.
Is this standard/normal for a Lawson installation? I'm hoping that the person who did the installation messed up.
We are not experiencing any problems becasue of this but, as a SQL Server DBA, I'm a bit concerned about Lawson SPs being outside of the lawson environment.
Please advise.
Thanks, John
Id be willing to bet that whoever did the install, when they opened the window to execute the SQL file to create the stored procs, they forgot to change the selected database. But Ive never done a lawson install so i dont know if this step is even necessary.
Thanks mnye.
Does anyone else know? We are close to going to production and I'd rather zap those stored procs out of master database while we can still do some testing.
Thanks, John
I ran this question by our Lawson 9 tech support guy.
He says these Lawson stored procedures do indeed belong in the master database.
... but I still wonder...
