Title: 8.0.3 Support Extended Until 2009

Cindy - December 10, 2007 06:12 PM (GMT)
From the email we received on Friday:

"today we are announcing the continuation of UNIX/Windows Technology 8.0.3 standard support until May 31, 2009, for all customers who have licensed System Foundation and are current on maintenance."

Yeah - I think it's a "Good Thing". It'll give folks more time to do LSF9 right rather than fast...

Please note the requirements though:

"who have licensed System Foundation and are current on maintenance"

This offer is not extended to clients who have not licensed LSF9 or are behind on their maintenamce - in their case July 31, 2008 is still the drop-dead date

Good thing, yes - however, I can't help being frustrated that AGAIN, last minute communication of an extension/certification, whatever. As a previous Lawson employee, I usually defend the company until the end, it just seems that lately, everything coming is last minute, and I know personally, it's caused me a world of aggravation. Thanks for the venting time.... :banghead:

PS - well, not really last minute I guess, but still had to vent!! Thanks

Can you tell me where this letter is? I didn't receive that notification.

Thanks!!!

Never mind - I found it on the support site.

Thanks
