We need to set up a non-employee parent process level for reporting/W-2 purposes, and would like to prevent employees from accidentally being assigned to this process level. Does anyone know of a setting I can use to do this? Thanks for any ideas!!

Good morning, Nancy - do you use positions and defaulting? Perhaps you could have a specific position/s tied to this process level, and with defaulting rules on HR10.2, you could prevent someone form inadvertently being assigned to that process level - we have it set up in that manner here, and it works. There are a lot of places, unfortunately, that you need to watch, depending on how you're set up - budgets, etc.
