Title: Tansfer To Lawform?

There has been a change from 8.0.3 to 9.0 where if you execute the transfer.htm?LAWFORM it requires that the user is set up as a portal administrator in order to get to this form.

We modfied our portal roles in 8.0.3 to use this for users to get to forms rather than the standard search box because we have so many Lawson users - the concern is that with so many users a security hole may exist and the user could get to a form that they are not supposed to. The LAWFORM only redirects to the sepcific form entered, but the search brings up a list of any match in the test.

We obviously do not want to make everyone portal admins and we would lilke to omit a search but rather just transfer directly to the form.

Can anyone think of a way that we could do this for the users? If we create some kind of custom page, what would be the URL redirect that we could use to transfer them to a specific form?

If I understand right, you want users to be able to go straight to a particular Lawson (or custom) form? If so, you can create a bookmark to go straight to the form using this syntax:

LAWFORM|PDL=PROD|TKN=AP10.1

In LSF9, Windows, we have not had to set our users to be a portal admin and this works.
