I suppose I will introduce myself... Hi, my name is Thad (Hi, Thad)... oh... is this my support group? Sorry, wrong group...

Althought I have been in the IT field for coming up on 20 years... I have only been working with Lawson for last 2 years with VERY VERY little security experience. (mostly just creating self service accounts and a few JED accounts) I have no manuals except one binder labeled "HR Application & UNIX Environment Security". :banghead: We run Lawson v8 on HP UNIX v11.11. All of the security classes that are in place were do so prior to me. I have a test server that I get to "play" with, creating security classes and so forth...

With this all being said…

I would love to find some PDF’s/ Manuals that will help with terminology and how this all fits together…

All in all, I would have say I am glad I found this little Lawson island in a sea of giant waves…

Oh ya… I hope that I will be able to contribute at some point instead of just taking advantage of all of the wealth of knowledge you all have…

Most of the docs you are looking for are available under the documentation link of support.lawson.com - however they can be a P.I.T.A to find there.

Tell us what version of Lawson environment and Applications you are running and we'll help you find what you need.
