Title: Fax Integrator
Description: New Fax Integrator vs 9.0.0.1

I have attempted to go-live with the new version of Lawson Fax Integrator (version 9.0.0.1) but had to resort back to the older version because I am running into a problem with our long distance access code. We dial a 9 to get an outside line--this is working fine, but we also dial a six digit access code after dialing long distance numbers. The problem comes in because there should be a 1 to 2 second pause before entering the access code and I can't get the setup right to have windows dialing options perform this pause!!! Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how do you get around this brick wall??? :banghead:

We are also working on smoothing out the issues with the Fax Integrator 9.0.0.1.x. It is getting there.

I think your issue is adressed in the Windows dialing rules. For the specific location, there are options for the local and long distance lines. We put a "9," in each of these (without the quotation marks). The comma puts a small delay in the dialing process. You can put as many commas together as needed.

If you have dialing rules set up but the new Fax Integrator seems to be ignoring it, it is very likely that your phone numbers are not formatted in a way that Windows Fax Services recognizes. If you search the Microsoft Knowledge Base for "canonical", it should bring it up.

Let me know if you need more asistance,
rw
