Title: Bsi Tax Facotry Upgrad
Description: BSI Tax Category

Hello.......We've installed BSI 8.0 on our test system and when I add a new hire or run the PR13.8 I'm getting the message "No deduction found for BSI Auth BSI00270000 tax cat 015". Can anyone tell me what I need to do in Lawson? Is it a matter of setting up a deduction code on PR05 and if so what tax category do I use on the tax tab ~ when I drop down the list type 015 doesn't exist. I remember this happening with a previous upgrade but don't recall what was done to fix it. One other question ~ if I set up a new deduction code do I need to run the PR113 to update all employees?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Does Minnesota have a Job Development tax? If so you need to add it in PR05, yes.

Tax Category 15 is Employer Paid -- you should be able to see it in the drop down as long as the PR05 "Adjust Pay" field = C.

Yes, PR113 is the batch mechanism for updating employee tax deductions.

***Verify this with your Employment Tax department -- the Job Development Tax rate may already be accounted for in your SUI rate...
