We set-up a new pay code and assigned new pay class and pay summary group. When using this pay code along with our standard codes the pension deduction was not calculated on just the new pay code. Does anyone know if this is a setting in the payroll system or should we be looking on the benefits side?
Hi Patty - I'd actually start by looking at the PR05 for your pension deduction. Sounds like it may have a specific pay class attached to it, that doesn't include your new code. If that's not it, then go to the benefit plan set up. Good luck
Thank you Stephanie.....That sent me in the right direction, there is a pay class assigned on the PR05, so then I realized I needed to add my new pay code to the PR20.3 Pay Summary Group Relationship.
