I have been a Lawson customer for over 10 years. My company has been an iSeries customer all this time but we are now in the process of migrating to Unix - and upgrading from 7.2 to 9.0. I look forward to meeting everyone.

Hello "Mel83"!! We've just finished (sort of) our 7.2 to 9.0 conversion. I'm assuming that, since there are no tools to go directly, you're using a consulting firm. We hired Ciber & they did a pretty good job. What company are you using, or, are you doing this yoursel(f|ves)?

We are using Paradigm and InterraIT.
Paradigm is providing information concerning how the conversion programs work and system set-up.
InterraIT is mapping the data and writing scripts to move the data.
We split the task because InterraIT is our off-shore partner and their rates are a lot lower than Paradigm's. :rolleyes:
